Description

A clear understanding of accounting and tax considerations is essential for any construction firm. This program will detail many common areas of construction accounting including accepted revenue recognition methods, measuring percentage of completion, calculating revenue earned, third party reporting, and key financial ratios. The program will also discuss tax items that may materially impact business and individual tax returns and some unique tax benefits that are available to contractors.

    Dave has an extensive background in assurance and accounting with emphasis in real estate, manufacturing and distribution, with a primary focus in the construction industry.  His clientele includes general, mechanical, electrical, flooring, sheet metal, fire protection, and numerous other contractors.   Dave is a CPA and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Nevada Society of Certified Public Accountants, Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants, and Michigan Association of Certified Public Accounts, as well as a member of several national and local construction associations.
