Alexa Santora is an attorney with the law firm of Fox Rothschild, LLP.   Alexa is experienced in a range of government contract, construction litigation, and contract negotiation matters representing general contractors and subcontractors throughout the United States. Alexa regularly advises clients concerning Federal compliance matters, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) regulations, Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) regulations, Small Business Administration (SBA) regulations, the False Claims Act, the Buy American Act, the Davis Bacon Act, contractor codes of business ethics and conduct, affirmative action plans, and limitations on subcontracting.  Alexa regularly assist clients in the preparation and defense of contract claims under private contracts as well as claims and appeals under contracts with federal, state and local governments.  Alexa has experience conducting internal investigations addressing allegations of employee or subcontractor misconduct and resolving such issues with Federal officials.

Alexa is admitted to practice in all Maryland state courts, all Illinois state courts, as well as the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Maryland, and all District of Columbia courts.  Alexa holds a Bachelor’s degree from New York University and a Juris Doctorate from The George Washington University Law School.  Upon graduating from law school, Alexa was awarded the Laurence E. Seibel Memorial Award in Labor and Employment Law, which is given to a member of the graduating class demonstrating excellence in labor and employment law.  Alexa resides in Chicago, Illinois.
